In my apartment, I only have a mini fridge (it has a VERY small freezer that doesn't stay very cold, my ice cream melted, but maybe if things didnt need to be THAT cold). And I don't have much cupboard space either. But I need an example grocery list (preferably cheaper) that my TINY kitchen would be able to hold.

I used to have this situation...not fun!
I would get dips and crackers or bread, like hummus, cheese. Some fruits and veggies that don't need refrigeration, like apples, bananas, oranges, tomatoes and avocados. A bag of ready mix salad and dressing, so you don't have so many individual veggies. Keep on hand things you can use as basics, like rice, couscous, or pasta, then be prepared to run to market for fresh stuff to fix, like veggies/meat/fish for stir fries or entrees. Get canned/packaged juice, pudding, and only put in what you will soon eat. Ice cream won't work, sorry. This can be a healthy way to eat if you force yourself to pick up fresh items (or frozen if you cook them right away).
