Great photography sites are everywhere. They exist in your home on your street and all over. You have to let your mind look for them. Textures colours they all can combine to make that one great picture. Simply running to the Grand Canyon and taking pictures is not photography.

If you can hike 10 miles, I recommend Havasu Falls, in Arizona. Havasu stands for blue/green, and these falls come out of a large spring and makes beautiful pools that end up running through a lovely area that the Halupi Indians use as their water source in their village which is 2 miles from these falls. If you ever get the chance to vist this beautiful place, you will not regret it.

It depends on what kind of photography you are looking for, but http://pro.corbis.com/ has amazing insight into modern photography, including celebrity and independant, ranging from flowers to people to landscapes with very definite twists in color variation and subject matter- I could browse for hours!

How about this?
It's a personal web site, but the pics taken in Europe are nice.
Pitty, it's basically written in Japanese.
