There is a warning lable on the prescription bottle. "avoid prolonged or excessive exposure to direct sunlight" ----etc.

You are a lot more sensitive to sunlight and burn a lot easier. Things that you used to do will give you a wicked burn on this.

I believe that might be a warning to store the MEDICINE away from direct sunlight. Some medicines break down and lose potency under certain conditions. Then again, it might increase light sensitivity in a person. I'd call up a pharmacy and ask them. (Any one of them can tell you...and a lot easier to get hold of than a doctor!)

you may just break out into a rash or you may start itching...maybe break out in hives or become tired or fatigued more easily. some people on these medications also state that in the sunlight they experience some nausea.

i am on the same and it gives me a sun burn look really red and i want to drink more water. and i can some times get ill

Very bad sunburn. When you are taking duretics you skin becomes very sun-sensitive.
