For example, I can normally remove my ring with no problem. After jogging, I can't!

It's probably because there's more blood pumping through your veins after the run...

I had this same problem with training for the Avon-3 Day Walk. Try making sure you are using your arms and hands to "pump" as you run or to exagerate the swing a little bit more.

You can also try taking a tennis ball or stress ball with you and squeeze it, alternating it between hands during your run. It helps get the bloodflow back out of your fingers and hands.

Some people when walking or running their legs, feet, and hands get swollen. This is because the blood is rushing to that area. When finished walking or running for long periods of time you should elevate the swollen area. Another suggestion is to soak, before and after running, in Epson salt or regular salt. Drink water before, during, and after running, too.
