why does it seem guys like seem more attracted to girls with long hair? there are probably some guys out there who will not date a girl with short no matter how pretty or smart she is. it kills me because some people can be so closed minded about things. i'm not saying this because i have short hair but i just want to know what is the deal with long hair?

idk. I have really long hair and this guy I really liked went around asking out all these girls that had short hair so it's not always like that.

Well I think it depends on how shallow the guy is you're talking to. If the guy has a brain and is half decent, I think that he won't focus as much on looks, but more on your personality. But trust me, not all guys are into girls with long hair. Some guys like girls with shorter dews. It's all a matter of preference and is all in the "eyes of the beholder" as they say. Some like apples more than oranges and you'd be surprised the number of guys that like oranges more. So don't get down. You'll eventually find someone that likes you for who you are and your originality.

Long hair is sexy; but, that said, I think short hair can be just as attractive. Depends on the guy, and the hair. Some guys have really scuzzy long hair; some have really lame short hair.
I don't go for categories; I just on a case by case basis!

I like long hair very much - too much to be honest...
But I had short haired girls - sometimes with very short hair...
The fact is that longhaired people, including me, are in a way different. It is not just hairstyle.
So - longhaired boys are usually looking for longhaired girls...
Besides hair is just one plus to your personal looks and can be very interesting while practicing some night activities...

I don't think that's true. My ex boyfriend loves my hair. It's not incredibly short, but it is to my chin, and I tease it a lot. I know another guy who said that the hair made me look hot. I guess its preference? It's like some girls like guys with longer hair, some don't.

Guys prefer girls who are thin (but not too thin) over heavy.
Guys prefer girls who don't wear glasses over girls with glasses.
Guys prefer girls who are short more that tall girls.
Guys prefer girls who are blond than darker hair.
Guys prefer girls with larger eyes, larger boobs, & round booties.
Guys prefer girls in skirts than pants.
And finally guys prefer girls with long hair.
Does this mean that you have to have all those things to get a boyfriend.. NO!!!
No, No, No, but why???
Because guys are attracted to girls - - period!
And nothing is more attractive than a smile, and a little interest in the guy himself. Show him you can be interested in him and in what interests him, and then watch out girl.
