Nothing you see things in him you are drawn to and like....That age difference is not alot and you should proceed(with caution) Otherwise you may never forgive youself. Whatever you have the choice to do............Do...Or you'll wish you did.....

Form a solid friendship first. 10years isn't that huge when it's 40-50, sorta huge when it's 30-40 and pretty dang huge when it's 18-28. You have so much life to live first. If you want to date this guy, fine but realize he's at a way different place in his life right now than you are. I married an older man when I was 21 because I thought I was "in love" and he felt like he needed to settle down. I really regret that decision because it strained our relationship and we're heading towards divorce. I can't help thinking if I had lived a little more life before settiling down with him we would've been able to work it out. Try forming a frienship first and see where it goes. In 5-7 years you might re-evaluate the possibilty of a committment.

You sound like a very mature young lady. No, it is not wrong to like the guy, but go slow and be careful... 10 years is alot between two people. Honestly, it is better for you to be with someone closer to your age, then you can grow and experience life together. AND, peering deeper into this...what would a man of his age want with someone so young??? Be careful. He has experience on his side...you don't know what his intentions might be if you got together.

Similar experience: I'm in my early 20's, I thought I found my "perfect one" he's late 40's. I don't smoke or drink. yadda.yadda. and u know what? it didn't;t work out. so it's not wrong to fall head over heels for a guy that's 10yrs older. but by the sound of it. you may sound a bit too sure of yourself, your only 18. and even if you don't smoke or drink, it doesn't mean that ur "mature". that's the truth. I still think I'm imature most of the time even though im in my 20's but you know wat? you got a whole life ahead of you. why u want to fall for a guy so early in your life? take it easy, and enjoy a single life for now.

There's nothing wrong with liking him, dating him on the other hand, there is concern. You are young and although very bright (you're in college, keep it up!), he has been around the block a few times. Be very cautious and go slow if you date him, older men have been known to take advantage of younger, inexperienced girls. He may be totally fine but, be safe rather than sorry. I wish you the best of luck!

At the age of 18, I do not see where there is anything wrong with liking a man 10 years older. Keep the goals you have set up for yourself and keep your own life, that goes for any relationship and age. :) Of course it helps if he is single and interested in you as well. If its healthy then I see nothing wrong!

Absolutely not! You are legal to be with him and age is nothing but a # unless its an illegal thing (which its not). If you are really "in huge like" with this guy then dont let a age difference get in your way. Go with your heart and you can never make the wrong decision.

All his 28 year old friends are going to make fun of him because the only chick he can bag is an 18 year old teenie bopper.

I believe you need to concentrate and finish college. i don't think you love the guy as you said it. I like the guy. You have a big future ahead of you. Get your professional career and you will find the love of your life.
