Going to 3 is easy, especially if the older sibs are interested in helping. When our third was born (an unscheduled C-section, my wife lost a lot of blood and was tired and in pain), our oldest was 8. She did SO much for her mom in those first few weeks, fetching things and getting stuff ready.
After about a month my wife told her, "Every new mom should be issued an eight-year-old when she leaves the hospital. They make having a new baby so much easier."
That was ten years ago. The oldest is going off to college next month... Anyway, having three kids is great. It CAN be hard to keep track of them all, though, because they now outnumber you!
Best of luck!

To go from 2 kids to 3 kids, it's 50% harder. To go from 3 kids to 4 kids, it's 33% harder. To go from 4 kids, to 5 kids, it's 25% harder. To go from 5 kids to 6 kids, it's 20% harder. You get the idea.

I have of my own now. But before I got divorced I had my step-daughter all the time. I don't think there was much difference. I also think it helps if you have them far enough apart that the oldest is resonsable enough to listen to you when you need them to. EX... taking 3 kids with you to the grocery store... if at least one child is old enough to know to stay right with you when you are walking into the store, you have two hands free to corral the two who wont listen.

The second child is usually harder than the third. I have a friend who has 8! She says it gets easier with each one.

lol
such a funny question
i think it was huge going from 1 to 2
i am contemplating a third as well
i think it will be a lot easer as you already have a routine happening and you are already use to sharing your attention between the two children
