Israel has never attacked anyone without provocation. They have always been attacked first. If you believe in the saying"turn the other cheek" would you do that no matter what anyone did to you or your family?

Haven't they already turned the other check??? Israel makes up less than 1% of the land mass of the middle east. In the 1967 war they took Gaza, and the West Bank. However Jordan took over 65% of the land that was Palestine, and to this day has never given any of that land back. Israel has. Israel has given up land to it's neighbors for the hope of peace, only to have their women and children become targets.
Their are murdered in wholesale numbers, by terrorist. They are bombed in their market places, their homes, their schools. They are surrounded on all sides by countries that want to kill them, and try. What would you have them do????
Cut their own throats to save the world a problem??
When faced with such an enemy, what would you do????
I hope you would have the manhood to fight.
Fight they must and fight they will. It for them is kill or be killed. We have seen just what extent their enemies will go to to kill them, or have we all forgotten? They go through 9-11 everyday, we only see once and we ain't smart enough to know that you can't talk to someone who only wants you dead. They must fight and we must fight, it is the same battle. If we don't then we all should just break our the kool-aide and drink up, because we will die.
It is a choice, a real choice that we can't over look. We can't just turn the other cheek here. There won't be a cheek to turn.

Question to you: do you think Israel's overly reacting is justified. Overly means that they actually wants to kill but just waiting for a reason or perfect time to do it. I did not see this war case is Israel's turn her cheek. Well, anyway, if you learn what the bible said about Israel - they are stubborn and greedy people - and they won't turn their cheek.

"Turn the other cheek" is a Christian concept. Jews don't live by it. They take an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. No, I don't think they should do what is alien to them. Frankly, I don't think many Christians live by the concept, either, despite what some of them might say.

A crime or misdeed against a child is different than a crime or misdeed against yourself. The Bible also speaks of justice, and one cannot and should not turn the other cheek in every instance.
