Christians so not have to accept sinful behavior in others either. That does not mean they hate people. They just do not condone the sinful behaviors of non Christians or even other Christians. Sin is living in darkness, and A Christian should never let their spritual eyes get adjusted to the darkness of sin, but become the beacon of light for the sinner, so they can be led out of their darkness and into the light of Jesus. That is what you refer to as a Christian hating, Well, that Christian is doing what God wants us to do. Not let our spiritual eyes get adjusted to the darkness of a sinful lifestyle, just because the rest of the world accepts it. That just means the rest of the world is following satan and not God.
When ever a Christian quotes the scripture to someone who is sinning, they are automatically are accused of hating, or judging and that;s redeculous. The word of God just places light upon the sin,and then convicts the heart of the sinner to repent of that sin in question. People need to get over it when they don't like what the bible says if it does not match a persons sinful lifestyle.
God is not going to conform to our sinful ways, We are to conform to His rightous ways . God will not look upon a sinner or upon sin. You'd know that if you read your bible. Jesus died on the cross so we can come to God cleansed of our sins through repentance and our sins are washed away the blood of Jesus.
Put your personal feelings asside and start living the way God intended you to live, and that is an honest effort to His word 100% No one will ever get to obeying God's word 100%, but God knows that we are at least trying. IF you accept people and their sinful lifestyles. you are no longer in the light of the Lord.

A quick look at that website you posted struck a nerve with me on this issue. Hate, hate, hate. Not approving of homosexual marriage is one thing, but I will never understand how any Christian could possibly feel good about themselves after holding up a sign that says "FAGS WILL BURN IN HELL". Many Christians are totally caring, loving people; others are infinitely more hateful than the people whom they criticize (atheists, homosexuals, Muslims, the nonreligious, etc.) You can't tell me that God, if he's really up there, approves or encourages such hatred and anger.

Whever I see a sign that says "god hates ...." I always wish I had a sign that says "god hates hate" because if god is a god of love he loves everyone no matter what they have done and pointing fingers at others means you are being judgemental and that is a sin as well. People need to look at themselves before making coments about is wrong with other people. The best people are people who live their lives the best they can and are happy for it.

No, I think that most Christians are the live/let live people. The Christians here who are so vocal are a small minority of misguided fools who mistake religion for bigotry. They are anything but Christian. In fact, they are anything but human...just a bunch of hating animals wallowing in the mire. Good luck

Thats one reason I left Christiaity for a while.except for my own home studies. And prefer Paganism first. Then Christianity an off shoot/sect of judisiam. many of the rites that Christians use tody were adoped from the Pagans to draw them into the Chistian Faith.

Because the human race has been corrupt ever since Adam and Eve. Why do you think that the whites enslaved Africans just because of their skin color? Just live with it. I converted from religion to science when I was 5 years old when I realized that God don't really care much about me.

Christ taught us to love our neighbor, to love even our enemies...there's a song i remember singing in the church i attended when i was in high school, it had a phrase that went " yes, they'll know we are Christians by our love, by our love-yes, they'll know we are Christians by our love"...i think as our society in general gets more polarized-right vs left, rich vs poor, republican vs democrat. liberal vs conservative, there is a tendency to try to push others into hardened positions, treating those who disagree as not only stupid, but evil...the tents of both major political parties have shrunk to the size of pockets...i think that has an influence as well...

All fall short of the glory of God I can only pray I don't fall to short. I try to be good to all no matter their religion or lack of. But the only one I can truly change is me, the ones I can help is the ones that let me. Have a blessed day:-)

Good point, no matter what religion you are if you are passionate about your faith try to spread the message in positive ways, If you are unable to convert people to your religion , or help someone who has "backslid" atleast you will convey your belifs in a positive way.
