The guy might be afraid that if he dumps you or turns you down that he will lose a great friend. I am not saying he avoids you because he hates you, i am just say that he might not be ready to commit to a friend being more than a friend.

Its not you. He has probably been hurt pretty badly in the past by another girl. He might have even really loved her and she did something that he just couldn't forgive. So he is being very weary this time around with you. He just has some trust issues going on right now. Give him time and space and when he is ready to reach out to someone again, just be friends don't rush anything right off. Or he may run for good.

You aren't doing anything wrong, with the exception, of trying to get someone, who doesn't care for you, to like you, as a friend or more.
It's all chemistry, some couples have it, others don't.
You two don't, and sadly that won't change.
No matter how much you try, you won't succeed at it. All you really can do, is sigh, and forget about it.
It's time to find a guy who will like you, for what you are.

How long do you know the guy? Do you have a reputation and if so is it a bad one? maybe he heard something about you. Maybe he's shy or maybe your going about it the wrong way find out what it is and try a new angle but do not make yourself seem desperate because no guy is worth all that. Hope this helps you out.

There could be losts of reasons why like he has been hurt before, he isn't looking for ne thing more then a friendship, he is not attracted to you, he has a g/f... Its better to ask him, then you no if you should keep trying to get with him, or just move on

You aren't doing anything wrong. The problem is him...for some reason he won't let you get close to him...You could ask him and try to talk to him about it. But if he keeps being distant...the problem is with him....its not you. Guys can be strange....try not to take it personal...

Well...you could be ugly....or he may simply not like you. If he does not like you, then he won't let you get close to him.
He could also be shy. Or he could be one of those low self esteem guys. He thinks he is so ugly, a girl like you will never like him...so he is protecting you, by keeping you away....he thinks you can do better them him.

Maybe you should back off a little. Don't pressure the guy. If you play hard to get it will make him want you more. (well that worked for me)

Why?
Being ugly is a legitimate problem you might have
Or perhaps you don't shower very often and stink like rotten eggs
That might cause a problem too
