According to the book called the bible, because of Eve, women throughout history suffer pain during childbirth... the snake nips at her heels and she crushes it with her foot... and that goes on and on and on... what did men (and not women) suffer for Adam's behaviour?
you tell me if I shouldn't resent that!

Interesting that you are asking this question.
I am currently reading a book by Karen Armstrong, prior nun and religious scholar;
THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO WOMAN
I cannot recommend it enough.
Your question was the first thing she tackles.
It also touches on the question of what was considered the first sin and how the Jews did not consider the Adam & Eve story the first sin because the ideas of sexuality between the Jews and the Christians differed.
Armstrong is an incredible writer and Biblical scholar.
Her book THE HISTORY OF GOD and her participation in GENISIS; THE CONVERSATION were phenomenal.

there is one section in existence that (no longer all, there are some super women persons opposite to what i'm approximately to declare) a brilliant style of girls persons and the comparable right here on GWS, which will at this time leap down your throat and lump each and every guy into the single class. toddler custody and divorse. attempt to declare that men are as significant, as solid a be certain, as in a position and as loving as a woman and look out. You get hit with the sexist retoric of a feminist or a maternal gatekeeper. Any point out that men have it undesirable in toddler custody and you would be spoken to in a sexist tone that if men might in basic terms bypass to their toddlers, pay toddler help blah blah. In divorse its if in basic terms men did some homestead initiatives or gave the spouse extra interest blah blah. Sexist.

Technically Adam was the one who really screwed up since he had been told by God directly and he was standing right next to Eve when she was tempted and did nothing. (Yes I am a guy). Plus when God took him to task for it he tried to shift the blame onto Eve. I read somewhere that Eve wasn't given the command not to eat of the fruit by God but by Adam which would mean that Adam messed up in adding on to the command and probably made Eve resent the command.

I don't think the bible has THAT much power. I see it more as a metaphor for the disdain men in general have for women, not the cause.

No, I think MEN pitted themselves against women along time ago.

I'd hope not. There's a whole lot more to the Bible than 'Dammit, Eve, why'd you make me take a bit out of that apple!' ^_^

No, because they both screwed up... if only one did, then it would pit them against eachother.
