My son is turning 8 and wants to invite 2-3 friends over. What should we do, where should we go? Any ideas?

What are his interests? My son planned a "spy party" at our house, including a cake that was heisted by his Grandad, with clues to it's location.
Scavenger hunts are fun for boys!
have a SUPER birthday, each boy gets to have a super power for the whole party. (draw out of a hat, because they'll all want the same power)
have a midevil knight tournament. cut shield shapes out of cardboard, tape on a handle, and let them design their own "crest" on their shield (tempera paints and a big plastic sheet will come in handy) Find $1/yard fabric at walmart and cut into large squares (48" x 48") sew on some ribbon on the top two corners for capes, and make cardboard spears...have some story books on hand for reference.
use a video camera and let them write, direct, and star in their own short film. give them ideas and help them decide. the birthday boy gets to be the star.
Hope this helps, and ask your son what he has in mind....they are very creative!

I truthfully think of you will desire to lease a "jumpie" residing house. in case you have a reasonably super exterior, you ought to objective for "picnic" form for the youngsters. Have a extensive barbecue and then have a scavenger hunt around your community (with an person with each team, of direction!) First team back gets a terrific prize :) Or, you ought to decide for a extreme high quality spa party. Have your place decked out with distinctive "stations." (mani-pedi, facial, and so on) youthful women continuously love stuff like that. The present bags must be little spa instruments (which includes some exceptionally nail polish!) . you will discover them inexpensive on the greenback Tree keep. wish helped! :)
