Walk away the second they say something inappropriate/disrespectful. They will soon learn to treat you with respect if they want to talk to you.

Dr Phil says you wouldn't worry so much about what others think of you if you knew how little they did.
They have there own agenda and have probably forgot anything you did over a month ago. We have very short memories and even shorter attention spans.
If that bothers you move away. Move across the country get a new job and a new life and unless you tell someone what you did no one will ever know. Say I was a perfect angel that never had any problems growing up. How would they know otherwise.
Heard of a woman who did just that because she had been a prostitute. Moved and said she just got out of a convent and decided to try and live in the real world. Married and the man thought she was a virgin and wasn't until she was real old she told. Long after he was gone. Great book.

Shame on them for not seeing the person you have become. Who are they to judge? I say don't worry about them, they are missing out on some really great moments now by holding on to the past. Their Loss. Move on and be happy with who you are. That is all you can do. You can't control what they think, so let it go and let it be their loss.

As the bible states "all in Christ are new creatures and old things have past away:.
God never consults your past to do something in your future.
The people that are judging you all you can do is apologize if you need to and the rest is on them.
Even Christ has to go off from his people before they accepted him because all they saw was the carpenters son.

you just simple remind them that if they are bust pointing thier finger in your direction they have thre pointing bach at themselve's. Most poeple who judge others without knowing them find out the problems they see in something you or I do and say is really a deep rooted problem inside themselves. Just smile and confuse them thats what i do lol :)

You can never please everyone! Remember that. Just be the way you are, people will either like you or dislike you but you will know who your real friends are. Just be who you are and enjoy life, its too short to worry about what people think
