I have lots of breeds of chickens,and they wont....?

lay eggs they are plenty old enough anyhting i can do to make them lay eggs. also i need a site with pictures and descriptions of lots of differnet breeds of chickens cause i have a chicken witha n afro like thing and2 bantees one brown and 1 black and white and a grey one and i dont know what they are

check out this site to identify your birds. Make sure they have a secure place to lay their eggs (they can be very good at hiding them and local wildlife will steal them) and feed them layer crumbs with oyster shell grit.

How old are they? Chickens don't lay until they are about 6 months old. And are you SURE they are hens? Also, the one with the "afro" is probably a Polish breed. The Murray McMurray Hatchery site has photos of a lot of common and rare breeds.

Feed them laying mash or laying pellets whitchever they prefer,This stimulates them to lay. The ones with the afro thing going on are more than likely crested polish. the brown is probably an old english game bantam and the other sounds like a silver duckwing old english bantam. hope this helps.
