Not on my street it doesn't, 3 clamped on my street this last week alone, pavements for pedestrians and cars for the curb side, if you have to have a vehicle that needs more room than your average car then find a drive to fit it in.

Whatever type of vehicle you have it is ILLEGAL and DANGEROUS to park on/or block the pavements. When ever I see anybody doing such a stupid/idiotic/dangerous thing I phone the police immediately after yelling abuse at the person concerned.

if it is parked on a pavementy in the UK it is still classified as on the road - for it to be off road it need to be closed away in a garage or similar.
