Girls: What makes you feel secure in a relaionship? If you said something like "I want a tall guy", when in fact what you really meant was "I want a guy who I feel secure and protected around", what would one of these guys be like? What would he do?

Boyfriend security to me means that I can trust this person with my life. Trusting someone with your life is huge, this person will not only protect me but make me feel safe no matter what it is. I'm lucky I found someone who fits that description and hope that everybody finds someone who they can trust their life with.

Not really sure as to what the real question is here, but I'll give it a shot.
My man is the man I've been waiting for my whole life. He's tall, big and kind of jealous at times. He protects me, our daughter and makes certain that we have what we need. He's the kind of man I've been dreaming about since I was a little girl, and now I have him.

what makes me feel secure in a relationship:
he calls when he says he will and maybe a few times when i'm not expecting it. He compliments me (not all the time) but when I'm least expecting him to say something sweet. and he always finds away to touch me, wherever we are, whether its holding my hand or a light brush on the small of my back. Makes me feel confident and secure about the relationship.

I would want a man that made me feel safe and secure. I would want a man that totally encouraged me to be myself and follow my heart, my dreams, and be behind me 1000% I want someone i can be there for and he be there for me no matter what!!

he would protect me no matter what. he'd be trustworthy. i can trust him with anything. i can depend on him when needed, but not make him a pillowcase.
