Honda Odyssey -- I don't personally drive it, but BOTH my older sister and older brother have them. Each has 3 kids and spouses. They are both fanatical researchers when it comes to cars, so I trust their choice. Also, here's some web info:

i drive a 1999 ford windstar (no called freestar) it as been a good van -(very little problems at all- it is only equiped with am/fm/cd & frt & rear air conditioning - but if i were to buy one today i would find a make & model that offers the power windows on the side (not available in 1999) but i believe that honda, nissan & new hyundai van have them now. i would also have a cd player for the kids on long rides. - good luck with your purchase !

there are only two to consider...Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna ...it really comes down to personal preference...test drive both of them. For comparison of specs, go to edmunds.com

Ford is discontinuing the Windstar so if $$$ is the primary motivation, then check those out. Stay away from Chrysler, Dodge, Kia and definitely GM minivans

The Honda Odyssey is an excellent model, it is a little pricey but worth the extra money. It is reliable, safe and good looking in my opinion. (I don't drive one myself.)
