roseyroses14,
I am writing being influenced by God after study of the scriptures currently found in the Bible. ( Just so you know where I am coming from.)
"The End Of The World?"
No. Not for at least 1007 years in the future. We still have the Great Tribulation (7 years) and the Millenium (1000 years) to go through.
There will still be a certain time before that where Satan will gather yet once more to come with armies to Israel, to kill Jesus.
"It is my opinion that because of the all that happening especially in the Middle East that its Muslims that are going to bring the Thrid World War and somehow help in the disater of the world coming to an end."
War yes. God made it easy to tell which are His enemies. (Ezekiel 39).
It's apparently not just going to be Muslims though. Expect Russia to get involved. You know they have their hand deep into things as they always have. Also the kings of the East, so China and their allies. Why? Because God gathers all of Israels enemies into one place so that He can deal with them all.
So don't you worry! God is in control in all of this. We are seeing the stage set for the End of Days. Not gloom and doom, but the end of all those bad things that we abhor; misery, sin, confusion, murder, etc.
Did you ever hear that song, He's Got the Whole World in His Hands? That's a song that happens to be true.
Be of good courage, we have a heavenly kingdom to look forward to!

Thanks for the observation, Spork, but how does a conflict based on religion spell the end of atheism? If we want to eliminate the conflicts in the Middle East, eliminating the religions would make more sense.
As for the Third World War being the end of the world or even civilisation, it's not really likely is it in reality? Some power bases may crumble but after any empire has collapsed, different civilisations have filled the void. The american empire will eventually crumble and be replaced by some other controlling power (earthly, not mythical though, Spork and the rest of the theists).

basically the third world war won't be a "world war" as we know it. It will be more of a battle between good and evil. A world leader will emerge from the world. Someone who appears to recommend peace worldwide but he really won't want peace. His overall goal is the disarmament of countries that will eventually rise up against him. And then, forgive the expression, all hell will break loose. THEN you will notice a peace pact with Israel to last 7 years. Unfortunately, the peacenik will break it in 3 and one half years. Anyway---that's what I think. We shouldn't be worrying so much about Israel and Lebanon. It may be a step but it is not the war. Listen and learn. Go to revelations and read from chapter 1. Check it out and then let me know what you think.

The Jews being in Israel is a sign of the end times itself. There are many other signs like in 2 Thess. 2:1-10 speaks of God allowing erroneous ideas be rampant is another sign. The bias in people and the media is rampant. False ideas from personal decisions to global perceptions all have been magnified. The way people are becoming polarized seems to be another indicator. People criticizing religion or attacking it by perverting it to fit their agenda is another sign. The world wars of the past century and the slaughter of innocent children by abortion are definate signs. Prophesies say 1/3 of the world population will die; that is 2 billion people!

It will never happen. Think world was II, the holocaust, Hitler, and Communism, those events were really scary, theres always a better tomorrow. Political interests are far beyond true altruism, and for the most part the United States is doing its part along with other nations.

Grace unto you and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
The only end, that's notably already written in the Holy Bible, and in accordance with the end God declared from the beginning, is the end of Mt 22: 36-40 and Rom 8:2 law law, once and for all. You can read about it in Revelation 22:21, except in NIV Bibles, which notably leave out the grace us end of the God shew, shewdown thereof, between Johnny Law Law vs His Grace.
It's really no con-test when you real-ize "grace is sufficient".
The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

It is openly admitted by most that we are truly in 'end times'.
There are signs that God is about to have his war with the unrighteous. If you consider revelation, you would have to be blind spiritually not to see it.
Don't expect to see a physical end to the earth. That isn't going to happen. But the destruction or world governments is starting to occur.
