I'm originally from Coventry but I live in Scotland just now. You really should re-word your question to say is there anyone from the UK on here. I know the Scottish get very touchy about being called English. But I know what you mean about the Americans! lol...

I'm not English, but Welsh. I'm in England every other weekend, and speak with less of a Welsh accent and more of a British neutral accent, so I could get away with saying I'm English....

nein, niet,...... just kidding, course there are english people here!not scouse, cockney or brum, I was born in midlands but not a brummy and my hubby is from wiltshire, our kids are now being raised in yorkshire. so you work that accent out, cause we can't.!!!!!!!!
