If you can install it into a PC, then you can simply know when your computer starts, before it loads any thing, but if you can't install it, you must remove the heat sink or the fan and see what is the chipset of this video card

Start Menu => Run => type "dxdiag" Click OK.
Once it runs you can click on display and it will tell you everything you need to know about the video card.

You can use a freeware application, Lavalys' Everest Home edition, that will give you all the hardware information about your computer. You can download it from:

It will display information on: the motherboard, optical drives, CPU, RAM, BIOS, graphic card, Windows OS version, motherboard temperature, fan speed....

I think AMS is the brand name. it should have a serial No on it somewhere?
I guess you are after drivers.........have you tried installing the card on an XP pro machine....tyhat shoudl at least find the card and install a driver to make it workl

go to the start menu right clcik on my computer then go to hardware then device manager then look in display addapters
