The golden rule is universal in most religions. It requires that we treat other people the way we would like to be treated: with civility and compassion. It seems like this rule is needed more today than ever.

Nope. only placed: they are insects. they are so small and primitive relative to us that "recognize", like lots of the international round them, is going precise over their heads. incredibly, your accepted domestic dog or kitten or maybe human toddler has way better happening in its head than your accepted insect does. insects are basically tiny residing robots--they devour, molt, advance, devour some better, molt and advance some better, breed and then die. And even as there is larval ranges for some and subject matters for others, it truly is incredibly solidly actual of all of them. They do the organisation of existence only about totally in a reflexive, mechanical way. And maximum vertebrate existence receives this: maximum land vertebrates kill even with insects they run into (or devour them, as some birds, amphibians and reptiles do). Flies and so on in certain have advanced to reproduce by ability of the thousands only to make amends for that. there's a metaphor in the following someplace, about trolls in this internet, i'm certain. Or a minimum of the bots[*]. Pun meant.

Although now I am a born-again believer in Christ Yeshua(Jesus), I have tried to raise my self on this old favorite catholic song.--------- "Whatsoever you do, do unto my brother that you do unto me.
When I was hungry, yougave me to eat, when I was thirsty you gave me to drink,
Now enter into the Home of My Father.
And of course the song lists things like when I was naked you gave me your coat, when I was weary you gave me to sleep and so on and so forth.
Then when I grew up the world was not such a nice place, I even try to learn and practice to turn the other cheek. That is a little hard to do. Anyways God Bless.

My parents told me of all the things I would learn that that is the most important. Give respect willingly and you will most times get it in return.

I agree: that'd sure be nice. Unfortunately, it seems to be more 'Do unto others, and then run' these days...
