Your body needs sodium to regulate body hydration. If you sweat a lot you should replenish you electrolytes (sodium and phosphorus). Getting a six pack requires a very low body fat percentage (like 5 or 6 percent), and it helps to do resistance training. A lot of situps, contrary to what most people would think, will not do it. You need to lose fat and do weight training with your abs. Do only one or two ab workouts per week, most days should be recovery days. Do a lot of calorie burning exercises like bicycling, running, or tennis.

First of all, salt IS NOT cholesterol. It can CAUSE high cholesterol. It also forces your body to retain water, meaning a higher blood pressure. What you need is protein. Eat lots of chicken. It's what the bodybuilders do.

the salt that would be benefical is CELTIC SEA SALT. the brand only because it has the 80 minerals that your body will deplete during excersise. and eat it on a daily basis just to keep in good health.

You need it, but it retains water which probably won't help the 6-pack much. Honestly, run more, eat less, and do crunches. Nothing else will do it.

Salt is good and bad for you. When you eat salt it makes you sweat, which burns calories and makes you hydrate your self with drinking water. It's bad though for your heart.

sodium is essential to life. if you are sweating profusely take a salt pill. or eat a bag of chips (much more fun)

Crunches are better for you than sodium. Your heart will thank you.
