It depends on which religion you are talking about...
Wars
"But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you."
- Jesus in Luke 6:27-31
Stupidity
"Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding."
- Proverbs 4:7 (all of Proverbs is about making smart choices in life and not wasting your time or your money or your effort!)
"be as wise as snakes and as innocent as doves."
- Jesus in Matthew 10:16
Sexism
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." - Paul in Galatians 3:28
I don't know enough about facism to give you a quote about it, sorry!

Religion doesn't cause ignorance or intolerance at all... It's just a belief. It's how a person handles said belief with other people that makes them ignorant or intolerant. And what are you talking about wars, racism, stupidity, fascism, and sexism? There will ALWAYS be those things religion or not. Racism is a problem of itself and has no connection with religion. And fascism is a way of government, which also has no connection to religion.

Obviously you're not neutral, and seem to be quite hostile towards religion. Keep in mind that most wars in history have been fought for resources or land; religion was the primary motivation behind the abolitionist movement in the 19th century that ended slavery in the USA, the entire idea of universities and higher education was conceived and first implemented by the Catholic Church, fascism was based on the works of Nietzsche who proclaimed that "God is dead."

Well, in the same way that guns don't kill people, people kill people, no.
Many religions preach love and tolerance. One I can think of right off the top of my head has "Thou shalt not kill" as one of it's main precepts.
People use their religious beliefs to fundamentally divide themselves from other humans, and then, often, as an excuse to persecute or kill those they have separated themselves from. So, if you like, religion doesn't kill people, people kill people. Likewise racism, fascism, wars, stupidity.
Sexism, yes. A lot of religions are completely skewed toward keeping men dominant over women.
But, religion was created by people. So, you have to consider the possiblity that, like the gun, it was created with one purpose. It may require someone to pick it up and pull the trigger, but it is, first and last, a weapon.

No.
People dogmatically following religious traditions without knowledge result in wars, racism, stupidity, fascism, sexism, etc.,.
People choose to be ignorant by not studying the basis for what they believe. They follow tradition rather than knowledge. Christianity, at least, is based on knowledge of the bible.
Unfortuantely, many Christians fail to study and learn. You can't claim to know the true will of God if you're unwilling to read what he said.

yes you r right. Nooffence but there are other religions that dont involve in those. I really dont belive that some religions are better than others and i apologies if that opion of my seem offence to your belive but if u cant find answers in your religion try asking others religions. And you dont have to join them but just take their advice. And rember religions dont causes wars, racism, fascism , sexism , and stupidity. Its the misunderstood people who made their philosophy in a negative ways and causes these mistakes. And they did these because they belive other religions are wrong, evil, or even sinful. But seroulsy do you think our gods wants to fight each other or want each of us to fight against each other, or does anny god in anny religon ever says that he is better than others and only he him self is trueful? The answe is simply "NO". And once again I apologies if anny of my writings seems offensive to anny ones belive.

Religion without the bible and Jesus Christ causes wars and If you trully knew the Lord Jesus Christ and read a bible and got yourself In a Bible believeing church you would feel different,I did and I wish I had early In my life a lot of people woud have not have suffered .
This Is why I plead with the youth today to believe In Jesus Christ because Of my mistakes, but It took guts to stand alone and most young people dont have the guts to stand alone,I did not when I was young I hope you do

Well, I wouldn't go that far. I think the racism, fascism, etc... are just human nature and religion gives us an acceptable excuse to actually act on them.

I'm not too sure about fascism though. Off the top of my head, only Hitler comes to mind when he was using god to say that the german race is the only pure race, but not in recent memory has religion influenced fascism...

I don't believe religions cause war. I believe bullies, and bullying nations use religion as an excuse for war. I believe that as the majority of members of all religions are peace loving.
