When I wake up late in the morning & don't have enough time to wash my hair, it looks oily. Anything you know that I can do too make it look less oily?

A little baking soda sops the oil right up. Be careful not to go overboard. Or another site recommended talcum powder, sprinkle some on the brush or your scalp.

For oily hair: Add three crushed aspirin tablets to your shampoo. That helps to remove excess oil and dandruff.

Also see this sites for alternatives for your hair.

The most important thing you can do to prevent or resolve oily hair is to shampoo your hair daily. For people who tend to have a problem with oily hair, leaving the shampoo on your head for at least 5 minutes before rinsing may help.
Avoid brushing your hair too often or too vigorously, since the brushing will carry oil from your scalp to the ends of your hair.
Hormones affect oil production and therefore things that affect your hormone levels (such as stress or birth control pills) may also affect the oiliness of your hair.

Try switching your shampoo, I heard that Dove shampoo is good for oily hair. Or don't use conditioner, I only use conditioner on the ends of my hair, I never rub into the scalp like shampoo. Maybe you should consider showering at night before bed, just don't go to sleep with wet hair.

they have a powder shampoo from bumble and bumble and it works great is scented and all you need is a little so a bottle will go a long way, I would actually avoid using baby powder or talc as suggested from other people because it will leave a white residue that will make a paste if your hair is extremely oily.

the subsequent time you wash your hair I recommend you employ a conditioner. in case you purely use shampoo, it is going to go away it oily. The conditioner helps melt your hair. there is not any opposite direction to do away with the oil enless you wash it. sturdy luck girlie!

You can use those pads for your face that soak up oil on your roots. Or I've heard to put facial antistringent on a piece of toilet paper and dab it on your roots to get the oil off.

well you could wake up 20 mins earlier and have a shower, or take one before you go to bed, lol that seems to work well, or you could put a dab of nail polish remover on a cotton ball.....very small amount , and put in on your roots only, that dries it up quick , lol but showers are far more attractive smelling
