My 6 year old nephew just asked me to give him some water, when he can get it himself or his mother can get it. Should I give him some?

That is the nice thing to do. It takes only a few moments to get. And your teaching him the proper way to get what he wants. What if he climbed on the cabniet and fell and hurt himself.

most people dont let 6 year olds get there own, because of falling, mess making ect...etc...etc...yes he could possibly get his own, but why risk him getting hurt, the glass breaking, the mess getting made????? as carlose mensia would say duh doo dah
