Syria and Iran, so I believe, are supporting Hizbullah, so why is Israel slaughtering innocent Lebanese? It's like if I have a problem with you and I kill your sister who is a nun instead of standing up to you, a cowardly act.

Its a head scratcher, but what makes it even more sad is that we help them every day. We can no longer look at israel without looking at all the blood on our own hands. Its high time for change. Keep asking questions and keeping dialogue open and honest. There is still hope.

First of all, there are a lot of factors you have no idea about, and there are international tensions which cannot be ignored. We don't want WWIII here, if we can help it.
Second, they can't prove that Iran and Syria are helping the Hezbollah (even though we all know they are). So they're not going to invade Iran or Syria because that would anger their allies. ("unprovoked" attack)
I definitely don't agree with attacking civilians, but sometimes they are a casualty of war. And if they're living in a region controlled by terrorists, they're not helping their own cause. The big coward here is the Lebanese government. They should be ousting the terrorists from their country at any cost. Their civil war could prevent a world war, and I'm certain the US would back them up 100 percent.
I don't think you were wanting an answer, really... Your "question" was more of a statement. But maybe I enlightened you a bit. Hopefully so.

Several years ago, I spent some weeks at our house in Mexico City. I made friends on the web with a young man who does homestay in his home, out north by Politecnico and eventually he invited me to visit him.
He had a visitor at that time, a young woman from NYC with a small child, and she was pregnant at the time.
We chatted. She was married to the son of the Palestinian ambassador to Spain. The son had come to NYC to study, um, I think it was dentistry.
They were married, and had 1.5 kids.
His parents did not know this, because he was afraid to tell his dad. A year of two later, they got divorced. Well, duh! Yeah, I'd imagine so. What a cowardly dork.
Those people are genetically and culturally cowards. They attack Israel, and then run and hide with the women and kids. Then, dorks like here on YA whine when the Israelis, blow up not only the terrorists, but the future terrorists they are hiding behind. Get a life.

The Hezbollah is firing rockets from Lebanese neighborhoods. They have set up their camps right in the middle of the people. The HEZBOLLAH are the murderers, not the Israelis. At least Israel has the sense not to set up their military operations in the middle of their civilian population!

That's the way the middle-east works. Hizbullah are not Lebanese, but the Lebanese seem to support them (or the vocal minority are acting like they do at present)

Israel is not targeting citizens, they warn them to leave, they are after Hezbollah militia, but the militia is using guerilla tactics, they are putting the people of Lebonan at risk (see excerpt from news story below)

Yes read your history. Israel has been in war/fights with every country that surrounds them. (Jordan, Syria etc)
Why are we so naive. I hate the term Terrorists. For years humans have been treating each other like crap. I am not Muslim but I will speak up and say that term is demeaning, just like the Katrina victims were called refugees.
Did we call other countries terrorists? How many countries in Africa are British colonies, and in other parts of the world? They took land from other people and I am pretty sure the land wasn't handed over to the British. They went in it and took it.
Just like the American Indians, so I guess each and every one of us have ancestors who were terrorists. It seems to me that America and Great Britain are bully's and like bully's they have their posse who follows and believes everything they are told.

It's called war! I guarantee probably almost everyone of those women have a husband, brother, uncle, father, nephew who is a terrorist. They probably sat back and laughed at the murders the Hezbollah committed.
