my mom has it..but she stopped takin synthroid she just takes kelp pills and um drinks lemon water...and she lost over 60 lbs.....

My mother, who has Hashimoto's, takes Levoxyl, and it keeps her thyroid under check. You need to talk to your doctor ASAP about trying another medication.
Also...you're going to have put extra effort into exercising and watching what you eat. I know it's unfortunate, but you have to remember that your body is working against you - people *have* lost substantial amounts of weight with hypothyroidism, but they worked extremely hard at it.

odds are you re eating too fast try holding a conversation while having a meal so you re not gulping down more than you need to feel full
