Hey HERETIC where were you at. I was at BIAP I hope you know were that is. I’ve been there buddy. I drove 36 hours from Kuwait to Baghdad. Don’t tell me I don't know about Iraq. Good for you that you've been there but if you want illegal’s here; you've wasted your time serving this country.

I would feel like I do now, make an issue of securing the border but not mistaking the illegal issue with racial issue. I don't care what country they are from, just secure the borders to regulate and control the flow of illgals, as for the ones here already, give them amnesty, and the ones that are criminals punish them.

But of course since they are from Iraq and they are at war, they would be classified as "refugees".

And what would you know about Iraq, I've been there and about got killed 100's of times for my country, so suck my you know what...

I would hope that they would not do that and come to America the legal way. They and any immigrant should enter our country through a screening process. I would have a problem with them entering illegally.

The only word in your question that has any relevance is the word illegal. I feel horrible that we live in a country that is blatantly disregarding the law of the land. Where people that break the law are from is irrelevant.

They'd be good swimmers. The ones that are leaving are going to Jordan. THE MAJORITY REFUSES TO LEAVE AND STAND UP FOR THEIR COUNTRY AND WAIT OUT THE WAR EVEN THOUGH OVER 100,000 CIVILIANS HAVE BEEN KILLED.

MEXICO SHOULD USE THAT AS AN EXAMPLE!!

Biker - I recall they were there long before we went in - didn't Bush make speeches to them there for thier support?

If you look back at every war or conflict we have been involved in...many of the people from those countries migrate here...legal or illegal. They are tired of the living conditions in their own country...and who could blame them?

If all the people in Iraq moved in that were fleeing the problems in the middle east, it might be really cool. As long as they left the problems IN the middle east.

Awesome thought provoking question.

But I'd feel the same way about them as I do anyone that's entering my country illegally & breaking its laws.

If they are illegal, no way. we have too many who are putting their life on the line to make their home a better place to live.

Aparently you have not been to Detroit or Dearborn as of late.
We have half of Lebanon and the rest are Iraqi's.
I wonder how many are legal.

I'd feel the same as I do about illegal immigration now - that I am against it.
