Sure it's OK, as long as it doesn't interfere with your view of traffic our your window or in the mirror. And the decal on the door obviously is no safety hazard.
Are you asking whether it is legal, in general, to fly flags of other countries in the US? Yes; it is done every day. It is a part of our freedom of expression, which is the broad way of saying what is in the First Amendment to the Constitution. The Supreme Court has ruled that the First Amendment covers such things as flags and other symbols, as well as words.
The primary limits on freedom of expression have to do with (1) obscenity and pornography, (2) inciting to violence or other illegal activity, (3) slander and libel, and "defamation," which is harder to define, and (4) false alarms; the classic "crying 'fire' in a crowded theater" example.

Absolutely. It's freedom of expression, pure and simple. You have just as much right to display a Mexican flag as I do to display an American flag.
A note: I noticed that M R said that if the United States flag is adjacent to another, it must be flown higher. This true EXCEPT in the cases of other national flags and the United Nations flag -- by international convention, one national flag may not be flown higher than another unless those two countries are at war. So, if you're displaying the Mexican and American flags, they should be of about about equal sizes and heights. The U.N. flag may be flown above national flags.

You didn't say where you were doing this. In California, I'd say the decal on the door is all right. The flag on the mirror is okay if it doesn't block your view through the windshield or your side windows.

I don't see any point flying Mexican flag in the U.S. Why creating difficulty to yourself? What will you gain from doing it.
You're not the official office representing Mexico, like the Embassy. Doing so could call attention to yourself especially this time when most of us rejecting the idea of having illegals in the country.
If you're American, shouldn't you be loyal to the U.S. of A?

Although legal, it is frowned upon in 48 states. Why not fly your freak flag?
Many in this country are PROUD to be here. Unless you miss your homeland and desire to return, embrace your new heritage - pay your fair share of taxes, vote, serve on a jury, volunteer for Peace Corps or Marine Corps. Get up and get moving, the nation depends on YOU!

You can have a decal on your door, you can fly a flag. This is the United States you're asking about, right?

We have a Constitutional Freedom of Speech, freedom of expression of ideas, etc. But if the America flag is adjacent, the American flag always has to be higher.

yeah, you can do whatever you want, it's a free country. my friend used to drive around town with a huge chinese flag rigged up in the back of a truck. the only time he got stopped was when some crazy *** cracker took offense. but it was Sept. 12, 2001, so my friend forgave him for being all shook up from the day before.

Yes it is legal. Freedom of speech and all that. It's a great country. It is also going to draw attention.
I have seen cars flying the American Flag, and my only thought is "buddy, if you are going to fly our flag, quit driving like a butthole".
Just to put it in perspective.

That’s the beauty of living in this country- being able to do whatever the f*ck you want. But don't forget those who died for you to have that right & the country that you reside in that allows you that right.
Display your flag. Be proud of who you are & your heritage, but don’t get so caught up in your ancestry that you forget your other heritage- your American heritage. American heritage has nothing to do w/race, but rather, the land you live on & call your home. That’s part of the problem many ppl are having w/those of Mexican decent. They see (& honestly, I’ve seen, too) them get so wrapped up & shouting out to the world that they’re Mexican & proud, they forget to remember that they’re also Americans... But it seems everyone these days have gotten so caught up in the whole: I’m African American, I’m Asian American, I’m Cuban American, I’m Mexican American, I’m French American, yadda yadda, they don’t stop to realize that they are American’s to begin with.
I forgot when it stopped being okay to say that you were American & proud of it before bleeding heart political correctness & immigrants rights activists considered it to be racist.
