No. It's probably illegal as well if you touch her. If her father catches you, you're on your own.

Why date a girl so young? Does she have a crush on you, and do you like that feeling? The age difference from 17 to 13 is much greater than say, 40 to 36.

If you cannot imagine telling your parents and her parents about it, then you know it's wrong.

There is really nothing abnormal about it. The age difference is greater between a 13 and 17 year old couple than it is between a 23 and 27 year old couple only because you are not considered adults at that young age, especially the 13 year old. The parents of the 13 year old are probably worried that she will have sex too soon, become pregnant, etc. The 17 year old needs to be very careful, considerate and mature in the relationship. Have fun and good luck!

Never, by the age of 17 one is interested in different things than that of a 13 year old. would you let your little brother hang out at the mall with you if he was 13? Probably not. Your interests are different. The 13 year old is usually striving to fit in and therefore shows interest in older people, but really, you are on two totally different levels. Wait untill much later in life to do the age gap relationships.

Short answer, no, but... I started dating my husband when I was 14 and he was 18, We've been together for 9 years now and married for almost 4. We are as happy as can be. I was a very mature 14 yr old though. I had been through ALOT in only 14 yrs. He was also a very mature 18 yr old. He had a full time job plus was finishing his senoir year of high school. My mother met and and appoved of us being together. By 16 I had graduated early and we had our first appartment together. In most cases the age would be a big factor. Maturity is required in both parts though. Make the right decision

Sure, back in Romeo & Juliets age, when the average life-span was 30. But today that's not okay. Today that's considered very wrong. But however there's nothing I can say to change what you do. If her parents and your parents are okay with it...which something tells me they're probably not, then there's not much anyone can do. This next bit may be awkward...sexually 13 year olds aren't ready. So don't push that. Don't take advantage of her. And you better be going out with her only because you truly love her for her. But if your not, and your only in it because she's young and gullible, you better just back off break up and date somone you're own age. If the parents aren't okay with it, you better break it off. Unless you're willing to learn their respect and convince that she is honestly in your best interest. But it's not normal, and you're gonna put up with a lot of crap for it. Take Care

A thirteen-year-old girl is at a vulnerable age. Not yet really mature for a serious relationship, but still finding herself and starting to grow up, she can be easily led by an older boy.

It is wrong to take advantage of a girl under sixteen, especially if she is under fourteen, in which case even consensual sex between you could be construed as statutory rape. Five year age gaps are fine but there has to be a line drawn somewhere!

Please, leave young girls alone, and go out with a girl your own age.

No, and it may not be legal. Please understand, this is not to hurt you. But there are big differences in hormones, ideas, and mental stability. A 17 year old boy, has a lot of ideas going on down south and a 13 year old young lady, shouldnt have to deal with that. Your body is still forming and it will hurt you more then you will ever know, emotionally. Please, find someone your own age and encourage him to do the same.

I doubt that a 13-year-old girl would be mature enough to date a 17-year-old. However, I don't think it is unsual for the 17yo to be attracted to younger girls...just remember, in some states its illegal to have sex with an minor, even if it is consensual!

Normal, no....fun, yes
Just kidding
You know what.....it used to be quite normal. Have you ever watched the very family oriented show "Little House On The Prairie"? Girls were always getting married at 12. It was very common in older days. That's why Bar Mitzvahs happen at 12. It used to be considered grown up. Now they want to put you in jail for such things.
