i would keep quiet about it because it could be the child's fault...i mean some kids just like spilling water and being naughty...however, if the child did it accidentally and the parent hit the child for that, then you can say something....

That to me is totally wrong. I would not just sit there and ignore what took place, even though most would probally say it's none of your business. As a child we are a bit clumsy at time's and thing's will happen but there are better way's then to just smack them. Help them clean it up and tell them to be more careful next time is the way I would of handled the situation.

mmm....dpends on a few things.... did you see the whole event....was the kid acting up or was it an accident? Also, how hard was the hit? It's never easy to get in the middle of any family-situation....but if you think the children are in danger...might be better to watch them leave and get a license plate to "drop a dime" later.

I wouldn't say anything because peoole tend to get pissed if u dip in they're business when it comes to they're kids. I know some people will disagree and I kinda understand, but if u say something it may cause a problem, u can tell the manager and they may say something.

I would have to say something like, "It takes a lot of patience to raise children. Sometimes accidents happen."

say nothing. it's their way of disciplining the child. they're the parents, they know what they're doing.
