Kinda seems like how corporations operate. Sell an idea or product and people buy it. We would need some very good advertsiment campaigns and introduce a philosophy that kept people from really ever knowing what we were doing. Where can I sanction this and who wants to be a partner/shareholder?

Some churches are profitable, while others are always struggling. Depends upon their location, charisma of their leaders, level of community support, wealth and generosity of congregants, etc. But remember that among the "products" many, if not most, churches and synagogues are selling is service to the poor, for which I (a Humanist) greatly admire them.

They are non profit and need money to spread the Good News, but because most people do not give, and there art so many churchs they seem to always be asking. You can give to a charity or to some one hungry or to a family member in need. God will see your heart and will bless you. If you don't believe me just try it. You can not out give God believe Him!

SICK. You're not thinking about this. If youre looking for somthing to profit off of, look towards technology, development, and whats new. Do not try to take peoples money by being a medium between them and God.

It's SO VERY unethical. Did the bible ask for donations? Did it have advertisments inbetween chapters? You're perverting religion...

so long we find a CEO with a big mouth who can run things real smooth... is pat robenson still employed? if not we'll find someone else, i heard there's allot of talent in that sector of the job market... we need to make sure the clients keep up a their commitment of 10% (or more for the poor ones) of all their earnings and run a few extra programs to keep them somewhat informed... the best programs to introduce would be to have them partake in spreading wotever philosephy we decide on, so as to bring in more members and money... we also need to have someone get our tax exemption sorted and someone in a diferent country operate a 'mission', which we will put all the revenue in ...i suggest mainland china for that where office space and the labor of one man to twiddle his thumbs is quite cheap.

Mine sure isn't!!! We after meeting the budget for operating send the rest of the money to the mission field.
Most churches if they are small do just that.

No.

It is classified as non-profit organization; and you do have to give a monthly accounting (to the church board) for all the funds received and how they were spent, with supporting documentation.
