I am using www.providian.com
which means you applies credit card from the providian, one of the benefit as a card member is giving you free FICO credit score from TransUnion and it updates every month, Now I do not have to paid for credit report or credit score. Absolutely free,no sweat

If you have applied for credit and have been turned down, the best place to get a free report is the credit bureau. Take the turn down with you and they will give you one for free

go to www.annualcreditreport.com - that's the government's supported site for a free credit report. I don't remember what they ask for but as I linked to it originally from the ftc.gov site, it should be fine.

I would suggest only using the big 3 companies i forget there names but if you search for credit report your gonna see them over and over one starts with a t and the other a e and i forget the third completly
