I reckon that he'd just laugh at the disagreement of all religions and wonder why everyone doesent have their own morals and why people are unable to think for themselves and need insiration from story books written thousands of years ago. He may also be discusted at the way that religion manipulates people, including children, resulting in conflict which goes as far as wars between nations. I think the alien would not be tempted to stay for long on our planet as a result of religion and would fly back to his home planet. After all, theres more chance of aliens existing than there actually being a God, right!?

Well,at first I thought it was amusing, then I got caught up in it myself and feared hell to the point of not doing anything at all,and now I'm just confused!Ok,I don't think I'm an alien, but I have actually convinced one or two people I was one, before.Anyway, even though I'm not one,I think that might be how they would react.Hopefully they wouldn't blow us all up for being ridiculous. Not that religion is ridiculous, but these people that blow other people up in the name of their god are basically saying they have to take matters into their own hands because their god isn't capable. If I thought my god wanted someone to die,I would have faith that he would take care of it himself. If not,I would believe they would get their judgement when the time came.

There's considerable disagreement whether we humans are somehow "hotwired" or "inclined to" religious feelings. If there is a natural inclination, perhaps it would be shared by extraterrestrial beings. Perhaps not. It's just as likely that our penchant for staring at television screens for hours at a time would be as incomprehensible to them as our religions.

Good question. The best answer so far has been your own.

The alien would be disappointed in the juvenile attitude of religious groups which are determined to destroy each other -- all in the name of a god that they cannot prove exists.

uh, aliens aren't real man.

Educate yourself as to who created those lies. And as to whom creates the unidentified flying objects commonly confused for aliens.

Just cause you don't recognize it as a human flying craft, doesn't mean there's not a human piloting it.

The chances of God existing is 50%....

once again, do your homework....

I think that Mork would say "Shazbot!"

(and how sad it is that some of us will have no idea what I am referring to.)
