well, since pasta is just four and water is shouldnt go bad, but i guess something like a bug could start to crawl on it and give it germs eventually. And as far as veggies, well, they like the pasta will just get ugly. eventually, many hours, they will spoil, so put them in your fridge! oh, by the way, some pasta's do have eggs in it, which means protien, which makes it kind of like meat in that insects love it so dont leave it out too long.

Typically you're not supposed to leave food out for more than 4 hours.

That would depend on where you live: the climate, humidity, etc.
