Yes, there is ancient Babylon for the Old Testament and End Times Babylon in the New Testment. Prophecy.
People often say the United Staes is never mentioned in the Bible despite enjoying God's grace by it's support of God's children. The U.S., in it's current state of free fall is referenced in more places than just Revelation.
Jeremiah 51 for instance.
Because an event prophesied in ancient times is accurately referenced, does not preclude a future reference. Yes, by all definitions, the United States is the Babylon referenced for destruction.

Babylon is Babylon. It is a city close to Baghdad in Iraq. Doesn't get any simpler than that. The end scenarios are playing out right now. Jerusalem surrounded by her enemies. Somehow the battle will end up in Babylon and here it is the Christ will return to save His people. This can be found in the book of Micah , Chaper 4:1 "But in the last days......4:10....But for now , now you scream in terror.....for you must leave this city and live in the fields; you will be sent far away into exile in BABYLON. BUT THERE I WILL RESCUE YOU AND FREE YOU FROM THE GRIP OF YOUR ENEMIES. .......[The final battle will be fought right there in literal Babylon.]

Babylon the Great is the world empire of false religion of which the churches of Christendom are a major part. Christians are told to get out of "her". Babylon is called a harlot and a killer of prophets and saints. Think of all the wars fought in the name of religion, including the horrible crusades in the middle ages and the wars going on now in Israel, Lebanon and Iraq. Catholics and Protestants have killed one another throughout history. Needless to say, Christendom has a horrible reputation and will answer to Almighty God for the sins she has committed.

Babylon was an ancient city that was part of the Babylonian empire that was abandoned after the turmoil from Alexander the Great's death. All that is left since it was abandoned about 2,300 years ago are some ruins that are located in current day Iraq.
Perhaps you meant Babel, as that has symbolism behind it. If so, then still no.

The signs are definitely there.
Values aren't strictly observed like they once were.
Nobody can predict what will end this trend that's been going on for a long time now.
U.S. or New York Babylon?
In many ways...yes.
People need to adhere to old, established values and never be swayed to wander from them.
Freedom allows us to be what we want to be, and that includes rude and sloppy individuals doing what they feel like doing.
It would be nice to know we still had a code of ethics or family values.
I guess some still do.

No, Babylon referred to in the old testament lies roughly in the area of Modern day Iraq. The early church called Rome Babylon because they wanted to point out how sinful it was.. Much like Fundamentalists refer to New York City as "Sodom and Gomorrah".

If your looking at this as is the US as sinful as Babylon, then yes. But I also liked what someone else said about it being ancient Rome. However, looking at Ancient Rome, I see the US going down that same road. And just as the Roman empire fell, so to shall the US in it's time. Unless we learn the lessons of history and wake up to the fact that we ned to learn to live with each other instead of fighting each other.

If your talking about Babylon the Great in the book of Revelation, it's the world empire of false religion. If you notice, the kings of the earth mourn her as well as the merchants of the earth, and it talks about her spiritistic practices. There are only three empires on the earth, governmental empires, commercial empire, and the religions, and since God would not destroy true religion, it has to be false religion.
