Homer Simpson tells god he doesn't want to go to church. Where is the outrage? There is none because it's no big deal right. So, i ask you, why did people go mental about a cartoon of mohammed and start rioting and giving death threats?

I don't mean to cause arguments or anything here, but some people do take religion too seriously, a cartoon about somebody they consider sacred doesn't hurt anyone, and doesn't religion teach us that the world should be peaceful anyway?

Is it possible that the media is determining the agenda? Look at the outcry for Jerry Springer the musical? If you want outcry then cry out on a quiet news day. By the way who gives a sh** what other people think - you're big enough to make up your own mind aren't you?

Because in Islam it is a sin to make any kind of illustration/representation of Muhammed, as He, like Allah is so holy a person cannot possibly allude to what he may look like.

This isn't the case in Christianity, so Christians are less offended by episodes like The Simpsons.

Lol at Southpark Jesus though...

People with strong faith don't need to be outraged at such things. If someone tells me my faith or God is ridiculous then I can shrug my shoulders because I know better. I am quite capable of entering into sensible debate if necessary. If someone tells me I am ridiculous for holding my beliefs then I can respond with outrage if I choose.

it's the way of demonising people and it's religion. It's happened in the west too, so that's nothing new.
