I'm going to be straight up with you. THIS IS COMING FROM A GUY. NEVER!!! NEVER EVER LET A GUY KEEP YOU FROM FULFILLING YOUR DREAMS AND GOALS!!! Men are a dime a dozen. Good men a little less. If he didn't support you with what you was trying to do and couldn't handle it then he was not one of the good ones. A real man will support everyone of your hopes and dreams as long as they are beneficial to you. As remain faithful to the relationship and his wishes while you are away and he definitely does the same, then you should have nothing to worry about. I know it can be hard. But really we just aren't worth it. You have to have it for yourself and if he is doing anything with his life, then he will understand that too. Imagine if it was the other way around. Would he do the same for you? Would he even be in a position to make a decision like that? You gotta consider those things.

Something like that I guess. I always wanted to be a stewardess and even went to school for in it Florida (which was hundreds of miles away). I am now a bank manager and married for 12 years with 6 kids. What happened is that I choose the other path I had always dreamed of which was getting married and starting a family when I was in my early 20's. I sometimes wished I had taken the other path, but I new it would be hard to be a stewardess and to travel all around the world and still have a family. Good question.

Yeah I dropped out of undergraduate school to be with my boyfriend. The good news is I left him and got back into school and I finished and got my degree. It is never too late. Go back and complete what you started. Once you are breathing the air you are you still have a chance to accomplish your dreams. Go for it!

Well, I am a man, but I've made the same mistake. I gave up some very good career moves for my fiancee. It was a mistake. If you want more details, message me.

Yep.
I put off going to college for a guy who turned out to be a total douche. Luckily, I learn from my mistakes.

Are you out of your mind GIRL any man worth having and loving better love you enough to hang tight For you to better yourself and further you education. needs to be a priority if you are going to have to deal with a man you are going to question then you can plan to support his behind. He should have convinced you to go. If you love something set it free......

I haven't done anything that major...but I sort of am the type that would put love before my career/school. I would've dropped a semester of school just to move south w/ my boyfriend, 2 yrs ago...but...he didn't watn me going with him, so it was kind of clear of what he wanted, and we broke up. but I do that shet. eh

You need to think with your heart and your mind! When you combine them, then you'll find the right answer. In my opinion, he should go with you or wait for you if he truly loves you. You need to find out if your love is going somewhere and if it's worth it.
