Yes. If you dont feel led in any particular direction, then just go to a junior college and get your aa in general eduction. Years from now when you know what you want to do, then you wont have to go back to take those classes, you will be that much closer.
If nothing else go to a trade school, big universities dont necessarily offer the big bucks for jobs anymore. Take contracting work, plumbes and electricians make VER good money, but they dont go to college, just a trade school.

Depends on what you want to do...for some professions you have no choice but to go to college, for other professions, 4 - 5 years of work experience is about as good as college, though you might have a hard time leaving that career path if al of your experience is limited to that field and you have no formal education.

well what are your interests? have you any idea what you want to do with your life? do you want to work for minimum wage for the rest of your life? going to colllege can help you find out what it is that you want to do with your life. I mean, if you have an interest in Art or Music, or Film, etc, you should pursue those dreams or goals. If not, do not waste your first year not knowing what the hell you wanna do and drop out mid-semester. Many kids make that mistake and waste their time and money doing so. Of course, if it is what you want to do. I do not believe it is necessary to make you happy, or to make more money. I do however believe it opens more doors and makes more dreams become a reality.
However, if you want to get rich you need to have an attitiude that you can sell yourself, your dreams, and ideas to the world and it will happen. It is all in the mindset and your desires.
