It is perfectly fine to work out the same part of your body for more several days in a row, as long as you do not feel any extreme pain. In fact, getting into a routine schedule for working out will give you better toning.

You should never work a body part 2 days in a row. Your muscles DO need the time to recover. You also aren't getting the fullest potential of the exercises by doing them multiple days in a row.
Make M-W-F arms and back
Make T-TH-S legs, stomach
Just an example, but you know what I mean. I only work out with trainers, and that is what all of them suggest and require.

at the start, so you might income muscle you may desire to have a caloric extra. Doing a BMR ingredient on line will instruct you the way many energy your burn an afternoon by way of metabolism and workout. to income solid mass, you may desire to characteristic approximately 500 energy an afternoon to that form. you will desire to anticipate to verify a a million pound weight boost each and each week. So...consume greater. you do no longer say what your workouts are, yet a shown technique is a 5x5 application, that's heavy weight at 5 reps for 5 instruments, sticking to special movements, like bench, deadlift, squat, chin/pullups. a typical habitual is 3x a week, which leaves a pair of day's relax inbetween workouts. I take a million or 2 days off, reckoning on how i think. in case you sense like crap, heavily isn't considered one of those undesirable concept to take the wear and tear day. be certain you get a minimum of 8 hours of sleep a nighttime as nicely.

You should always wait 1 or 2 days between working the same muscle groups. When you lift weights, you're tearing down your muscle tissue. If you keep working out the same muscles day after day it'll get harder and harder to do those exercises. Giving them 1 or 2 days to recover and grow after your last workout is what you should always do.
Work on different muscle groups on different days if you want to give your muscles a chance to recuperate and rebuild themselves. For example...upper body one day, lower body and back the next, abs after that, then repeat.

Well it's good to let ur muscles rest because they need time to mend themselves.
when you work out a muscle, what ur really doing is causing little tears in the muscle fibers. once the muscle mend itself, it will end up stronger than it was before.
so yeah rest every other day, and do enough reps on the day you do workout so that you can barely do the last rep.

every other day IS correct, unless there is muscle strain. Then you need to wait for it to heal, then SLOWLY get into an every other day routine.
