Yes he did. She was not as you describe. There is ample evidence in the bible to support this, and anybody who knows anything about the history of the bible lands in that time will understand how strict the rules were regarding marriage. One point only I will make is that, had Jesus not been married, it would have been so out of line with the teachings of the day,SOMEBODY would have mentioned it and written it down for us to read 2000 years later.

You should read the Davin's code. The Catholic church made Mary Magdalen out to be a whore, but no were in history is pr oven she was. Just like now if they don't like what a woman does she is called a whore. If you can't win call them a whore!

Check out the Nag Hammadi Gospels if you can.

But calling her a whore is rather like this thing that some americans have of calling women 'Ho's' or 'Bitches'. Just a bit of that old scaredy scaredy little boy sense that they must control somethin or someone coz they feel like they can't control their own lives.

If Jesus existed he himself called himself 'The son of Man' - NOT the son of god. That came after he was 'gone'.

There are also some stories of him surviving the execution and becoming a healer and a teacher in central asia (including a tomb with a 2,000 year old body that has nail-holes in the hands and feet!)

But ultimately we are here to have fun, be nice to each other (no matter what skin colour, race, creed or species) and look after the place. To add something positive to the sum total of existance.. What else does matter?

This question demonstrates the "false choice" logical fallacy. It is quite possible that Mary Magdalene was neither his whore nor his wife. She might be his *** hag. She might be his groupie. She might have been made up.

I would personally like to think that she was Jesus' whore, just because that would -seriously- undermine the Christian faith.

Although Mary Magdalene was a prostitue, Jesus saw through that and forgave her as he liked her as a person. Perhaps that should be a lesson to all of us. I don't believe he married her though. If he had not been crucified, then he may have married her as he loved her for who she was and not was she was.

Actually...the bible nevery calls Mary Magdalene a whore. This is a title that was later applied to her by the Catholic Church.

If you are unable to be friends with someone of the opposite gender without being in bed with them, grant Jesus the honour of having more self control than you.

No one will ever know this, but the church will tell you he never married, because that is what they want you to believe, but there is a lot to support a cover up with Jesus and the church with holding the truth, but what about we don't know, but we can guess that it would destroy the church if we did.

Old Mazza was no whore, she was the victim of male based religious oppression. Still going on today (hanging teenage girls in Iran).

Jesus died on the cross, a long cruel death, and took the punishment which you deserved. Jesus was without sin, that is why He was the perfect sacrifice. Jesus loves you unconditionally and longs to give you life in abundance. Please consider this - your eternal destiny depends on it!
