The elements are eternal, they can neither be created nor destroyed, therefore a good synonym for "create" would be "organize."

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2: And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3: And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4: And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5: And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
6: And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
7: And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
8: And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
9: And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
10: And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
11: And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12: And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
13: And the evening and the morning were the third day.
Of course he had a plan and he tells you where he found the raw material. He brought it all together and created or made the earth and every thing on it.

Create- to bring something out of nothing
God spoke and life began, that's not magic, it's God. And God did create evolution. That was man's stupid idea of always trying to get an answer for everything, instead of just enjoying what we have without having a "logical" explanation all the time.
Possibility All: God is omnipotent, the creator of all things, the beginning and the end.

The biggest problem is where the materiel came from. Did it come from this pixie? If so he did'nt "create" anything. He's just manipulating it. Like a carpenter takes wood and makes a chair. He did'nt create that chair, he simply manipulated the materiels to change the form.
And if the materiel was already in the universe, he cannot be described as a creator either. Again, like the carpenter, he simply manipulates matter.
So how can anyone refer to this being as a 'creator'?

You really have to think beyond earthly explanations. One being, you cannot put a male or female face on God. God is both Man and Woman. Since God is almighty, God created creation. God made it, or willed it. Who is to say this is God's first creation. God is beyond being a magician, because Magic is an illusion. As science has found, there is always something in nothing. even when we feel around in an empty space, something is there.

if you look at the first chapter it becomes obvious.
the word Create or "borar" in Hebrew is only used once and denotes and ex nillio (something from nothing) creation.
the rest of the days it says things were formed as to say all the matter was created at day one and the rest was shaped.

Create is to make something out of nothing. God is the only one who is actually able to do that. Even when nothing physical is made by a human it is always the by-product of thoughts.
