You have the choice of whether to take care of your own economic independence.
Your grandmas didn't. Heck, my grandmas couldn't vote or own their houses (without a male co-owner) when they were young women.
We sisters haven't arrived yet, but we've come a long way over the past 100 years. Yes, it can be frustrating how long social changes takes.

I have several male friends and family members who have been turned down for jobs because the company "needs" to have a women on staff... I think women have more chances now than ever... still discrimination if you ask me...
but... I hear what you are saying about societies pressures to be, look and act a certain way... not fair really because if you go against that then you are an outcast but if you buy into it you are enslaved to it... no win situation...

Any sucess is a lot of work for women or men. It involves preparation, learning to communicate, along with managing money and responsibilities. And like it or not politics has a lot to do with what degree of sucess you will attain. Every managers nightmare is employees that challenge their every decision.

Learn to juggle! We women are capable of earning more respect and admiration because of the obstacles we have to overcome to reach the level of guys! Society now days knows we have to try harder to reach goals that come much easier for guys! And most highly respect that! It's our challenge! Take it head on!

Any mistake he makes is your fault. i will guess the subsequent time he cheats, you will exhibit regret to him! in case you do no longer choose to be that female, end being her.

Uh...
I like being a woman, thank you very much.
I like being a mother.
I like having my bills paid for me, and my garbage carried out.
I like having chairs pulled out for me, and doors opened.
I like having men offer me their seat on the bus.
I like wearing pretty dresses, and sexy night gowns, and make up.
I also like wearing jeans or shorts or swimsuits and going without make up.
I like fixing my hair up, or letting it just hang down my back.
I like the freedom I have as an American woman.
Equal rights?? LOL, puh-leeeeeze...keep those guys under our high-heels, where they belong! (j/k)
