My boyfriend and I were making out the other night, and things were getting pretty intense. He was really breathing very heavily and softly moaning. First, I want to say that you sound like a pretty smart girl! Good for you for having boundaries! Yes, your boyfriend can "get off" from just making out. Orgasm is 99% mental, and about 1% physical. Some people can think themselves to that point (lucky them!). All men react differently when this happens. Some are obvious, some aren't. Again, I want to say "Good for you!" for being so smart. :)

A guy can go off from doing that stuff. If you are only 16 I would stop worrying so much about being sexually inexperienced. I hope you realize that a guy that would be doing sexual things with you [until you are married] is not doing it because he loves you, he just likes to do sexual things. Not to say that he doesn't care for you at all, I just want you to know the difference between love and sex [and the difference between being treated well and like an object]. I did lots of things with a girl when I was a teenager and now I regret what we did together [even though I did care for her]. Don't make the same mistakes that I did. Good luck.

Yes, a man can ejaculate without being touched. The definition of a "wet dream" is a dream where the dreamer has a real orgasm.

It is very possible. Men get really turned on when making out. That's why it tends to lead to sex. Especially since he was on top of you he just imagined it was sex. And as for the signs heavy breathing is the most common and he'll usually have an erection. That would be the number one clue

If he was on top of you, you must have been touching somehow. Was he hovering over you? Floating? If his genitals were rubbing up against yours, then I am sure he had an orgasm. As far as the signs, it should be very obvious when a guy is having one. Guys are not usually the quiet type.

it is very possible that he had an orgasm. He was being stimulated by you touching him and him touching you.
