So basically you people who answered above me are saying that if you are Christian, and a murderer, you can still go to heaven (as long as you ask for forgiveness and accept Jesus Christ or whatever) but if you are Jewish, or Muslim, and you've always treated others as you would want to be treated, that you can not going to heaven? Well I can honestly say that I feel sorry for you. It must be hard to be that stupid.
P.S. that rockandroll person must be the stupidest person I've ever come into contact with in my life! I just looked at this persons answer to another question, which basically asked if you could be NON-CHRISTIAN and live your life basically by Christian values, and rockandroll replied "No!" What a dimwit! Learn some logical reasoning skills A ->B does not mean A<->B. In other words.....If you are Christian, you live your life according to Christian values. With that assumption you cannot conclude that you live your life according to Christian values if and only if you are a Christian. One can live their life according to Christian values without actually accept in EVERYTHING that is a Christian belief. God I hope that person never reproduces.

A Christian, in that definition, is a person who has repented of their sins and accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
This is not lip service...it's a true and willful turning away from sin and a "new" desire to follow God's ways.
Jesus stated there was no other way to the Father, than by Him. The bible says if you call on the name of Jesus Christ, you shall be saved. In this context, the answer is yes. There is no other name under heaven by which anyone can be saved.

Catholics do not believe that only Christians can go to heaven,When you think about it, there are sincerely good people in every religion. I think you have to love ,honor and believe in a person or power that is stronger than humans; this belief will bring people to heaven not just Christians.

Yes, and a Christian is not just someone who believes God exists. For even satan believed God existed. Satan even quoted Scripture to Jesus, when He was tempting Him.
To be a Christian, is to be born again by God's Spirit, by asking God to forgive all their wrong doing, repenting (turning away from) of their sin, and making a decision to follow Christ.

You must be saved by the Grace of God, to go to Heaven. God must convict your heart. You must realize you are a sinner. Then believe in your heart that Jesus died for you, and was buried, and rose again on the third day. Ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins, and come into your heart, and save you. By faith you trust in Him and be saved. Then tell others what Jesus done for you, and how to be saved. Live your life serving Him.

If there is an afterlife that is paradise, entrance should be determined by the quality of your character and whether you worked to be a good person...
...Otherwise if it is just a club filled with people like Billy Graham, and Jim Baker then I dont want to hang out in there...

Not according to Catholic doctrine. The Church states that in order to obtain heaven one must only live their lives to the best of their knowledge to the best of their ability. Many Catholics will probably say otherwise, but they do not know their own faith.

You must know that Christ was born of a virgin, and that God was his Father. You must know that Christ died on the Cross and shed his blood in order to wash your sins away. And, you must repent of your sins in order to go to heaven. You also must know that you can't make yourself perfect on your own. But, Jesus can make you perfect.

Well, we believe so, and the Bible seems to say so, but how are we to know for sure? I myself think better safe than sorry.
