The earlier two people gave you great answers. Remember, if looking for something specific do a word search. For instance, if looking for great chicken recipes, a word search will guide you to places such a recipes from the chicken council. If looking for a Cajun recipe a word search will guide you directly to spot for authentic Cajun foods. So start at the places indicated by the others here, but don't avoid doing your own search for specific items.
Happy cooking - yummmmm!

Epicurious.com is run by Conde Nast, so it has recipes from many of their magazines, like Bon Appetit & Gourmet. Also has a terrific search engine.
I also love Cooksillustrated.com, which is like the Consumer Reports of cooking. They cook a million versions of everything to try to find the one perfect recipe. BUT, it's a subscription-based site, so you'll have to pay to see the recipes.

Cooking Light
I like them because the majority of the recipes use easy to find ingredients, they are healthy, and they don't take a lot of time to make.
They test their recipes in order to lighten them and publish them. They have a wide variety, from breakfast foods, to pastas to cakes. I have never been disappointed with anything I've made.
If you like pork, go to Farmer John's website. Not only do they have outstanding recipes, but they have cooking tips too.

My favorite site is allrecipes.com. Allrecipes is nice because it offers very helpful reviews of recipes. I usually don't consider one if it doesn't have 4 or 5 stars. Then I read the review, listing them from "most helpful" first. Often reviewer find ways to improve upon the recipes, and that's the easiest way to find it. Allrecipes is also very easy to search.
