Not just counties but cultures ie

Afganistan and Nigeria with the stoning, or much of relgious Africa where girls are mutilated genitally, forced into arranged marraiges in pre teens and denied equality and foced to cover up.

Or say living in a country like Holland with porn , sex and nudity on TV but open minded attiudedness, equality, freedom etc...

Or say Saudi Arabia where the princess was murdered sorry exectuted for having a boyfriend... Look up a documentry called 'Death of a princess' or ireland with its history of abuse of women compared to the Playboy mansion where girls are free to come and go...

Mairainne... Explain then how I could get £10,000/pa for working as a designer whilst an exploited female as you put it could earn over £200,000 for dancing which is fun...

Likewise you mentioned rapes and social problems...You been in northern ireland?

Where christians such as protestants and catholics want to murder each other? Over 30,000 were tortured and abused in the name of christian family values, or all those christian countries where wemeon are denied decent contraceptive and sex ed let alone abortion control over their bodies?

I have met those who worked in porn and far from exploited there were treated far better then I have in most of my jobs...

Plus open minded to sex cultures like the hippies or the dutch have actually very few sex crimes such as rape

You need to check your facts... Its where its repressed that feelings tend to be currpted. Where its open porn stars would be treated like pop stars and pole dancers like cheerleaders.

Think about it, women is western europe in general are better off. I dare say even more so than in the US! They have access to universal health care, access to birth control (regardless of income level), and better laws protecting women from abuse.
The attitudes tward sex in European countries is, "we're all adults, everyone has sex. If you don't like porn don't look at it or buy it."
Notice also that the rates of sex crimes are a fraction of what they are here in the US, so much for puritanical laws....

porn porn porn !! I lived in Germany for 12 years and so many Americans are such prudes. Look at the fall out after the Janet Jackson Super Bowl show you would have thought she whipped out a dildo and shoved it up Justin Timberlake's @ss. We claim that the erosion of morals is the reason we have such high crime rates in America but in Europe where nudity is common and morals are looser the crime rate is much lower. So give me a country with porn.

God gave us the will and freedom to do with it what we will. Man kind has turned the work of God in to a story that suits man kind so man can control, and profit from it, it also means he can control the women in their life. this way they can do as they please and say it's the word of God, what rubbish.
Porn well as long as the women is not forced in to it what's wrong with it, but it does depend to how hard the porn goes. Sex, porn has been here before Jesus right back to when man first stood up i expect.
So to answer your question I would say it would have to be Pro-porn open minded countries.

Living in an open-minded country give us choices to live our lives the way we choose. God-fearing countries (or some areas in the US) control the way people think with limited education, and are closed to the rest of the world so no-one knows what goes on outside.

porn is not the equivalent to freedom.... the more porn, the more rapes and other social problems.

you examples you cite refer to muslim practices mostly...which are oppressive anyhow.....godless is a better word for these countries..

christianity does not condone the mistreatment of women. Men are to show respect and protect the women....women would be more protected under christian values..Porn would be considered exploitation..

What's wrong with Holland? Is this a rhetorical question? I don't see the issue. You're asking if it is better in countries where they kill you than in countries with pornography? Are you basing your question off the premise that there is something wrong with pornography?
