I posted a question a few days ago about me and my husband...I got alot of really good answers...(Really good)But I still don't know if everything is going to be okay...I trust in god and that's what helps me live my life day by day...My husband has been locked up for 1 yr now...Because he stabbed a 43 man in the back for the simple fact that he woke up and this man was raping me while I was asleep in our own place....I miss him so much...He's a great person to be with and he doesn't deserve what he's going through...I just want him home so everything can be okay...I still talk to him over the phone and I see him on the weekends...But it's not the same....I believe that the lord will take care of us and he will bring him back to me...What do you think...?

I don't agree with that first answer. We will see what she thinks while (if ever) she is being raped and people just walk by and wave. I read in the bible where it says for husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the Church. This was not an act of vengeance, rather an act of protecting that which God gave your husband the responsibility to do. I can't say everything is going to be OK here on earth. There is much injustice and horrible things that happen. I can say that our loving Father will give you peace and wisdom no matter what our enemy throws at us. I will pray for your husband and you both. And just keep praising God that He loves you and will carry out that which He started in the both of you. Read the story of Joseph in Genesis. He was imprisoned for not right reasons, but the outcome was to God's glory. God be with your heart my sister, and never leave your man, but support him. Your brother in Christ, josh

I do not know where you live but in most states in the US if someone is in your house you have the right to defend yourself and your family. Even if this man died your husband should not have been prosecuted for anything because it was self defense of family; however, if he stabbed someone that he found in bed with with your consent and knowledge and he stabbed him, he probably would be charged with attempted murder or if the person died murder. Was there any evidence of a break in or was this person an invited guest? Was there evidence that you had been raped? Were you seen in a hospital and a rape kit taken? If what you say is true and accurate (only you and God know this for a fact) then you she ask for a transcript of the trial and get a lawyer to review the case (he might be able to get the conviction overturned). If this is not trueor there is no evidence that you were raped than it is basically your word against the court evidence> in other words as far as the court is concerned your husband committed a crime. He is you husband and vows were taken, your love him and your vows means that you will stand behind him and be there for him. According to the law if he is guilty of this he is being punished by man for a crime committed against societies law.If he loves and believes in the blood and sacrifice of Christ then his sin is washed away and he is white as snow regardless of his guilt or innocence. This does not exempt him for the judgment of man.
This may be the path that God wants you on right now. Just remember that you are not alone.
I will pray for both you and your husband. Remember God loves the sinner but hates the sin and no one is without sin. Only God can stand in judgment of you and your husband under the law of God. May love and prayers are with you both.

I'll pray for you and your husband. Just keep in mind that Jesus does not condone killing or stabbing in anyway, no matter how mad we get. And the Bible says, "that which is natural comes first, before the spiritual." So no matter how spiritual we get, if we do wrong, the law comes first. God Bless.

God must have had a lesson for the two of you to learn. Trust in that and try to learn from the experience.

I hope you didn't pay the lawyer, though. That's a crock of sh*t. In the end, it will all work out.
