many of the online credit monitoring services offer a free 30 day trial period, in which you are able to check both your credit report and score for free.
only thing is to remember to cancel your membership before the 30 day period ends, or they will charge the monthly fee to your credit card.

It's not out there unless you're getting it as part of some other promotion. If you need to apply for a loan, you could apply then ask the loan officer to tell you your credit score. They can't give you a copy of the credit report they pull but they can certainly tell you the score.

Washington Mutual credit card holders get their score (not report) for free anytime they want on the website.

In the US you can get your credit report free from annualcreditreport.com. For your credit score, you will probably have to pay.
