Well. If she really has good personality as you said, she will forgive you anyway even though you do what she doesn't like.
You have to give her flowers or postcard for the rememberance of your friendship with her before you ask her to go out.
And, tell her that you always want to do the things that she likes and you want to be around her. Request her that you want to ask her to go out but you are afraid that she would refuse.
Be sure that when you ask her, do it seriously. She may refuse. But tell her that you will wait her forever. If she refuse you, do it as i say again a week after. Call her frequently and say how you care about her.She will be yours at last.

For senior prom, the guy that asked me to go with him, sprinkled pink and red rose pedals outside my house, in the shape of a square, then the got a LOT of those little tea candles, and layed them out, so they spelled the word "Prom?" Then...he lit em all, rang my doorbell, and was standing beside what he'd done by the time I got out there. It was really cute, and I'll never forget it. Maybe you could do something like this, but...say something other than "Prom?" Obviously.

If she is your great friend, go to her as if for advice.
Tell her there is this wonderful woman who is beautiful inside and out and you would like to ask her out, but you are unsure of how to go about it.
If she suggests something, do it that way.
If she says "Just ask her" or something along those lines, then you ask her right then.
You will leave her speechless. (In a good way)
I hope my advice helped.
Take care!

take her somewhere and say so is there anyone you like make it seem special even if there are people around or go to her house and leave her clues to go somewhere else and find another clue and then you'll be at the end or just go over her house and ask her
but do not do it over the phone or Internet that might show that you cant say things to her in her face

Boy,
Try this...
tell her that a simple date with you will make you feel like the two of you are in the skies with the moon your pillow and the cloud your bed, with the angels singing sweet love songs just for the two of you... and let her know that she will make you feel like a real man....
I bet she will give you a date and the true romantic part will follow for real.
Good luck

If she is a great friend you don't have to go overboard to impress her. Be yourself. BUT, also be honest enough with her to let her know you are interested in more than a friendship.
Try something like this, "You and I are such good friends and I have always appreciated you in all ways. If you are open I would be really like to explore more of a relationship with you."

roses are always good. but if you wanna go for somethin a bit more pricey, an expensive dinner is always good. just make sure she's into you before you spend a lot of money. (i'd go with the roses and a walk in the park = D) GOOD LUCK

sometimes asking a girl out in an overly romantic way is just cheesey. sometimes if you jsut stick to a simple approach and let the romance happen on its own its more special.
